FESTIVAL & EVENT EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council have been successful in receiving grant funding under the Open Streets Program led by Transport for NSW.

The Starry Nights festivals and events will foster a sense of community spirit and togetherness, bringing neighbours, friends, and families together to celebrate and showcase local talent and the regions attractions.

CGRC are calling for EOI’s from interested organisations to plan and manage the upcoming festivals and events.

*Wattle Time Festival (7 September 2024.) – A cherished event in the Cootamundra community, Wattle Time marks the start the warmer weather and blooming of the iconic Cootamundra Wattle. Street parades, market stalls, live entertainment, childrens amusements have all made Wattle Time a generational event.

EOI – Wattle Time 07082024   EOI Closing date 5pm 19 July 2024.

*Gundagai Festival (21 September 2024.)  – This new event,  is set to showcase local talent and highlight the wonderful aspects of Gundagai. Growing and fostering the popular Producers Markets.

EOI – Festival of Gundagai 08072024  EOI Closing date 5pm 19 July 2024.

*Christmas on Sheridan (6 December 2024.) – Christmas on Sheridan, provides locals with the opportunity to showcase their talents, and attendees to shop for unique and thoughtful gifts while supporting local businesses.

*Sparkling Street Community Christmas Party Cootamundra (12 December 2024.) – Fostering a shop local theme, meet up with friends and family for a night of entertaiment, great food and christmas cheer.
