Looking for something fun to do these winter school holidays?
Local young people are invited to take part in our Cootamundra-Gundagai Youth Scavenger Hunt! Explore your town, visit local parks and landmarks, spot public art, answer clues, complete bonus challenges and collect points along the way.
The hunt is completely self guided, so you can complete it in your own time over the school holidays.
📅 Runs: Monday 6 July – Friday 17 July
🏆 Winners announced: Friday 24 July
📍 Open to youth across Cootamundra and Gundagai
🔎 Complete the Cootamundra hunt, the Gundagai hunt, or both!
Completed entries can be emailed to youth@cgrc.nsw.gov.au or dropped into the main Council office in Cootamundra or Gundagai.
Please include your full name, age, town, and contact phone number with your entry.

💙 Community Kindness Cards 💙
This winter school holidays, we’re inviting young people across Cootamundra and Gundagai to share a little kindness with someone in our community.
Create a card or positive message for an aged care resident, local volunteer, emergency service worker, hospital staff member, community worker, or someone else who deserves a little kindness.
Cards can be dropped off at either Council office in Cootamundra or Gundagai or emailed to youth@cgrc.nsw.gov.au.
Please remember to let us know who your card is for, so we can make sure it gets to the right place.
Youth are also welcome to attend the Youth Hubs to create their cards if they need extra resources, ideas, or help.
All cards will be collected and shared with care across our community.
