Hold my Hand at Gundagai Preschool
Road Safety was the order of the day for the students at Gundagai Preschool on Tuesday morning.
The students were treated to a visit from Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) mayor Cr Abb McAlister and CGRC Road Safety Officer Anthony Carroll and Gundagai Police Sergeant Joanne Gallant, who spoke to the students about the Little Blue Dinosaur initiative “Hold My Hand” road safety message.
Cr McAlister presented the school with some educational material that can be utilised to reinforce the importance of children being aware of their surroundings and safety around cars in different environments.
RSO Anthony Carroll and Sergeant Joanne Gallant, held a fun time presentation with the children, showing colourful posters, questions, dancing and singing “The Hold the Hand of a grown up” song.
