FUN IN THE PARK AT GUNDAGAI
The whole family will enjoy the Fun in the Park event at Gundagai’s Carberry Park on Friday 25th October from 5pm.
Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC), in conjunction with the Gundagai Neighbourhood Centre and Gundagai and Cootamundra Libraries, will host events on the 25th October 2019 to celebrate Grandparents Day 2019.
NSW Grandparents Day celebrates the diversity of grandparent relationships across age groups, cultural backgrounds, and geographical locations.
Residents are encouraged to take part in a competition now open to win great prizes. The competition asks residents what makes your Grandparent awesome? What makes you an awesome Grandparent? Council wants to hear about all those awesome grandparents. There are excellent prizes to be won and submission of short stories can be made by email to mail@cgrc.nsw.gov.au, or fill in the Grandparents Day entry form at https://www.cgrc.nsw.gov.au/connect-with-us/grandparents-day2019-competition/.
Gundagai’s event will include, face painting, archery tag, clowns and loads of craft and food stalls. A family movie will round out the evening.
Council has received funding from the Department of Communities and Justice to host events across the council region. Food, drinks, games and fun for the entire family will be held in Gundagai and Cootamundra.
