Council is undertaking community consultation during the month of June for the Cootamundra town strategy – Cootamundra 2050: My Place, My Town.
Primarily a land use planning document, Cootamundra 2050 will establish a roadmap for development and investment to achieve the vision of Cootamundra 2050. The purpose of this consultation period is to determine what Cootamundra is now and what Cootamundra 2050 will be, by identifying current and future opportunities and constraints.
Council believes that every opinion matters and every voice needs to be heard, so we are trying very hard to reach as many people as possible so as to capture the most accurate reflection of the community as possible.
Council staff will be meeting with a number of community organisations and interest groups throughout June as well as holding with information stands around the streets to try and engage with as many Cootamundrians as possible. If you can’t make any of the engagement sessions, you can still make sure your voice is heard by completing a quick survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/32LTRH2.
The survey can be reached through links on our website and Facebook page.
