Council staff have prepared DA Packs for basic developments to assist you in preparing your application for lodgement via the NSW Planning Portal. These are available from Customer Service or you can download them from this page.

If you have lodged a Development Application prior to 1 January 2021 through Council (and not the Planning Portal) you will not be able to use the online portal for lodgement for subsequent Certificates i.e Construction Certificate, Final Occupation Certificate.

Depending on your development you may be required to complete other applications i.e. to install a manufactured home, install a septic tank, construct a driveway.

DA Packs

PACK 1: Simple Residential Developments – single dwellings, carports, garages, decks, swimming pools

PACK 2: Development Application for Change of Use – Commercial

PACK 3: Complying Development

When you have worked through the Development Application Guide and have all of the information required for your development, you can lodge your application online at the NSW Planning Portal www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au. Applicants can create an account to lodge an application.
