Over 50 exhibitors are booked to attend the Coota Connections Expo to be held in the Cootamundra Town Hall next Wednesday.
The success of the 2024 event, has seen a record number of organisations, service delivery groups and special interest parties register to exhibit their products and services on the day.
Hosted by the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC), the expo will have local organisations showing off their arts, crafts and recruiting for new members who have an interest in pursuing new hobbies, meeting new people and socialising. Service delivery groups from local, state and federal governments will be on hand. Services Australia will have consultants attending to assist with enquiries regarding Centrelink, Medicare and Aged Care Services. Murrumbidgee Local Health District Palliative and staff for Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke will also be attending to gain signatures for the petition to save the Cootamundra Hospital Pathology Department.
The mixture of exhibitors includes businesses and organisations specialising in advocacy services, health, aged care and disability support along with mental health and wellbeing services, community and social support groups.
The doors to the town hall open at 10am, the Cootamundra Red Cross will be providing refreshments at a small cost.
