Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) will commence the construction of a new footpath in West Street in Gundagai, with the work to commence on Monday 25th September 2023 and continue for approximately 3-4 weeks (weather permitting).
Construction of the footpath is to be undertaken along West Street, in between O’Hagan St and William St intersections.
Council intends to ensure there will be minimal disruption to all residence in the area, with all driveways remaining accessible during this time.
Pedestrians are asked to take care and follow any signage and instructions provided by Council staff while the construction is underway.
Council apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates your co-operation in following all restrictions and guidance in place during construction.
These works have been funded through the Federal Government Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program. The new footpath will be 2.4m wide to allow for shared pedestrian access.
