Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) are calling for public input into the Gundagai Town Strategy.
Council is in the process of drafting the town strategy and is requesting input from community members as part of the development of the strategy.
The aim of “Gundagai Survey 2021” is to provide an opportunity for the community to assist in identifying planning opportunities and planning requirements for Gundagai. Submissions from the survey will support the production of the Gundagai Town Strategy.
CGRC mayor Cr Abb McAlister is encouraging the community to take part in the survey.
“This is a great opportunity to have input into the future planning of our town and tell us what you would like to see happen over the next 30 years. The town strategy will provide Council with valuable information about what the community wants,” Cr McAlister said.
The finalised Gundagai Town Strategy will identify planning control objectives to help strengthen and provide opportunities to grow the Gundagai Township. This document will then provide direction for development of the proposed Cootamundra Gundagai Local Environmental Plan.
Interested residents can complete the survey on Council’s Facebook page or on the CGRC Website following the link below:
